How can I ensure I send accurate measurements? It's ideal to have your measurements taken in your foundation garments for the truest numbers, with a light shirt (meaning no bulk) and pants that hit you wear you like to wear them. By foundation I mean with the style bra you minister in... any shapewear you use... and any leotard or unitard you wear beneath your dance garments. Next, I would suggest you measure and then measure again. If someone is taking your measurements, confirm the numbers make sense to you. Make sure there is no slack in the measuring tape, meaning that the tape isn't loose. It shouldn't be compression tight, but the tape should be level, straight and flat. If you are really concerned, consider visiting a tailor or dressmaker in your area and ask if they wouldn't mind helping you out. Remember, most of my garments are not meant hug the body--they created for worshipping freely. There will be slack enough given for your MK overlay to rest over a tunic set or even another overlay without bunching up or restricting your ability to use your full range of motion. Lastly, feel free to search YouTube for body measurements. There are plenty out there, but here's one that I found to be trustworthy.

Can I order a garment that is out of stock?Kinda, lol. Because I am the sole seamstress, I may not have the fabric pictured or may be unsure if the fabric is still available. Rather than have you order the garment, I prefer I can get the fabric. Once I know that, I will remove the out of stock label and you will be able to proceed with your order.

Will you make alterations to MK garments that are received, but do not fit, whether too small or too big?As someone who has ordered custom garments, trust me, I understand this question. The hard truth is, the garment should be only as good as your measurements. This is why it is super important that you send accurate measurements. Before I stitch a single seam, all patterned and cut pieces are pin-fit on a dress to confirm fit. Once I am satisfied at this step, construction begins and fit is checked repeatedly on the road to completion. This is not to say I am infallible, but nothing will ship without my confirmation that it is accurate to the measurements. If your garment is egregiously ill-fitting, I would want you to send me a picture of you in the garment (provided it's not too small/tight for you to get into) and to confirm whether or not you sent accurate measurements. From there, I will make a determination what the best next step should be and the process, if I do indeed want you to ship it back. Due to the custom nature of the work and the dependency on the measurements you provide, as well as the verified pin-fit, I hope you understand that there are no refunds offered for MK creations. If you receive an item that does not meet what was displayed, discussed, or is poorly constructed (never gonna happen), I will work with you to make you whole/do right by you. This I vow to you.
